Using the Admin Console homepage

When you sign into the Admin Console, you will see the homepage, which gives you direct access to the service’s main features. The page is divided into four distinct sections.

Quick actions

1. Create a user lets you access the page for creating a manual account in a single click from the Users menu. Creating a manual account is explained in greater detail in section Manually creating a new user.
2. Create a group lets you access the page for creating a manual group in a single click from the Groups menu. Creating a manual group is explained in greater detail in section Creating a manual group.
3. Manage duplicates brings you to the “Duplicate users” filter for the list of users assigned to the school. Managing duplicate accounts is explained in greater detail in section Managing duplicate accounts.
4. Create a flash message lets you access the Flash message creation form for your school in a single click. Publishing flash messages is explained in greater detail in section Creating and managing flash messages.

Find a user

The quick search feature lets you find a user by typing in a few letters of their first or last name . You can then open their user file by clicking on the corresponding search result .

If the user name is different from the first and last name, it will appear in brackets next to the first and last name.
If you’re a local administrator from several schools and are on a head structure (an entity overseeing several schools or sub-structures), the console home page will display a box named "Find a user".

1. Search in current structure : gives you access in a single click to the head structure’s account management. The account search is detailed in section Sorting and filtering options
2. Search in all structures : gives you access in a single click to the search tab in all structures located under the head structure. The account search is detailed in section Sorting and filtering options

 Services 

The Services section on the homepage lets you access the management page in one click.
This page includes:

1. The school’s applications.
2. The school’s connectors.
3. The school’s widgets.

These sections are also accessible from the Services menu, which is further explained in section : Services management.

Import/ Export 

The Services section on the homepage lets you access the following pages in a single click:

1. Account export configuration
2. Account import users assistant
3. VLE accounts mass email distribution or login name distribution
