Sorting and searching
1. In the search field located in the top left-hand corner of the user management page, the auto-complete function in the search field lets you find users by typing in the first few letters of their first or last name.
2. The button allows you to Sort by name the list of selected users.
3. The button allows you to Sort by profile the list of selected users.
Cross-sectional search in all structures
If you’re an administrator of a head structure and positioned on it, you can access the search in all structures tab. This cross-sectional search screen enables you to search users in all sub-structures of the selected head structure.
To display cross-sectional search results:
- In the search field, on the top left-hand corner of the search in all structures tab, type in the first name, surname, username or email of the person you seek.
- Select the search type: by name or email
- Click on the magnifying glass icon to start searching.
After finding the user, you can see his file by clicking on his name (see section Viewing a user file)
Filters
The Filters button is displayed above the list of users and lets you display the categories of available filters in the central part of the screen.
1. You can filter users accordingly to their profile, the classes and manual groups they are affiliated with, account activation status, account upload source, duplicate status, local admin status for the school, and the account creation date. You can also filter for pre-deleted and blocked accounts.
2. For each filter category, you can display the selection criteria by clicking on the downward arrow button.
3. For some categories, such as Class, the selection criteria are determined by data that is specific to each school. You can use the search field to narrow down the available choices.
4. Click on a filter to select it. You can make multiple selections. The selected filters will appear in orange in the selection window.
The list of users on the left of the screen will be updated automatically.
5. The Deselect all button allows you to delete all of your category filter selections.
6. To exit the filter category selection window, click outside of the selection field or on the downward arrow button next to the currently selected category.
⚠️ You don't have to confirm your selections to save them. Selecting a field will trigger the search function automatically.
7. The selected filters will be displayed in blue in the Filter section.
8. To delete a filter criteria, click on the trashcan, which will appear when you hover over the filter.
