Communication rules allow you to control how users can communicate with each other and within the network. In other words, they determine who can see who. Communication rules are defined between groups only and not between individual users. A user's communication rules are the sum of the rules of the groups to which they belong.
To view a user's communication rules, click on the User communication rules button at the top of the user file. You will be redirected to a page listing the user’s groups and the groups with which these groups (and therefore the user) can communicate.
For more information on how you can change these settings, see section Checking a user’s communication rules.
